Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What if I want to split a sack?
A: If you want to split a sack, you need to find others to split with and manage the split amongst yourselves. One of you will need to formally order the sack and pay for it. It is up to your split group to figure out payments for the split, and to ensure that the sack is picked up on time. There is a tab on the order spreadsheet to facilitate finding others to split.
Q: What if I want to order hops?
A: This order will not include hops. We typically do a separate hops purchase as well, but on an ad hoc basis. Members will be receiving email about it.
Q: What if I want my malt crushed?
A: North Country will still crush your malt for a nominal charge, but they will crush whole bags only. Best suggestion, unless you want 55lbs of crushed malt, connect with a fellow member who has a crusher and do it after you get your malt.
Q: Which pricing should I use?
A: For estimation purposes, use the <2,000# pricing. Normally we order much more than that, so the price per pound will most likely drop. Once the order is finalized, you will get the total price. Until the order is finalized, the pricing is really just for estimation purposes.
Q: Can I order chemicals, wood, puree or DME?
Q: What if I have other questions?
