Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What if I want to order less than a full bag?

A: Rob North has volunteered to manage split bags for the club. So that club members can see what others are interested in splitting and potentially get on board with a share of something being ordered, Rob created a shared Google docs spreadsheet that you can access with the link below:

https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0AnHFNZmMN2VddFY3R2ZnT3ljbGp2VW5lcWNHZ1FwcUE&hl=en&authkey=CJ-bt-oP

Please fill in what you want, your name, quantity, and any comments (such as "I'll take anywhere from 10 to 20 pounds of xxx"). Once we get to within a few days of the bulk order deadline Rob will confirm what we have a enough interest in splitting with all who expressed interest. Pretty much any item from the North Country Malt catalog can be included. Some notes:

If you have any questions or trouble with the link above (first try copy-paste into your browser address bar) please let Rob know.

Q: What if I want my malt crushed?

A: North Country will still crush your malt, but they will crush whole bags only. Best suggestion, unless you want 55lbs of crushed malt, connect with a fellow member who has a crusher and do it after you get your malt.

Q: Which pricing should I use?

A: For estimation purposes, use the <1,000# pricing. Normally we order much more than that, so the price per pound will drop. Once the order is finalized, you will get the total price. Until the order is finalized, the pricing is really just for estimation purposes.

Q: Can I order chemicals or hops or DME?

A: Yes.
